While you are in New Zealand, we invite you to join us on a local hunting experience. We’d love to take you out hunting and share the local bush with you. It’s a great place to hunt with a good variety of country and plenty of game. This is a wonderful opportunity to unwind, enjoy being in the bush and have a successful hunt.
Your hunt will be entirely on private land. Mark will enjoy sharing his hunting domain with you; his family has hunted this area for 4 generations. Your hunt will take you through stunning native bush and over farmland. Using 4x4 quad bike (or walking) and your guide’s knowledge of the land, you’ll find that you’ll cover some ground. Along the way you’ll see red, fallow, and rusa deer as well as wild goats.
We’ll collect you from Chalet Eiger, and take you into the heart of the King Country. Rifles are supplied if needed. Please bring your camera, good walking shoes or boots and warm clothing. Warm clothing can be lent if needed.The prices for a day hunt, including a hearty lunch and pick up and return to Chalet Eiger are on request.
Hunting species: Red stag, Wild boar, Red and Fallow Hind, Goat, Turkey. Other species of deer are available, Rusa, Sika and Fallow. Different sized stags are also available. Taxidermy and expediting of trophies is not included in the price.
